Growing up in an artistic family, my mother and grandmother both hobbyist painters, and my father a DIY carpenter, I kept myself busy with constant crafts and painting projects along side them. My family has always encouraged my will to create, and with my passion for design, there was no question that I would end up doing anything else. As I grew older, I discovered more ways to fuel my creative outlets, and in the virtual world, I got my start as a budding architect with The Sims. It is a game I followed all the way through high school. By combining my creative upbringing with the technology inspired by this video game, my career was a clear choice for me- help others create their dream spaces through the creation of beautiful, personal, creative homes as I had done for myself since I was 10 years old.
By staying on top of current trends, as well as an understanding of historical art and architecture, I am constantly inspired to blend the line between modern and classic, appealing a bit to everyone with the beauty of well-designed spaces. I believe that dynamic contrast between objects creates a powerful respect for not just the individual objects within a space, but for the space as a whole. A lot of thought goes into finding ways to achieve this in a tasteful way. When it is done well, the result is breathtaking, and that is what I strive to achieve with every project I am a part of.
